Acne Remedies That Work Quickly

February 14th, 2011

Acne can be an extremely embarrassing and a costly skin condition to fix and it can also be an public too. I know this because I had acne for 5 years and I hated every minute that I had it. I wanted to get rid of my acne as soon as possible and would have done anything in my power to get rid of it. Thankfully because I wanted to get rid of my acne bad enough I finally started doing some research and learning what I could do in order to get rid of my acne naturally from home.

Nothing i was trying, including proactiv or any other skin care products worked. I was frustrated and willing to try almost anything to get results but nothing was working. I found out that proactiv was unhealthy for my skin and stopped using it immediately because it contained a dangerous and a unhealthy chemical called benzoyl peroxide. I also knew that accutane and similar acne drugs were harmful because my brother was actually born with a birth defect because of one so I definitely was not going to use any of them.

This caused me to learn and do research on my own into how i could naturally cure acne from home. I realized that I could cure my acne with at home acne remedies if i just stayed committed and tried out what I had learned. I researched, learned and read a ton of information and finally started to see some progress until I finally cleared my skin up.

I also learned that I needed to drink more water because when you have acne you are most likely dehydrated. Water does quite a few good things for your skin, one of the first one’s being that it cleanses your skin and helps flush toxins out of your body that would normally cause acne. Water also plays another very important function in your body, it carries nutrients such as vitamins and minerals to your cells.

The next thing that I recommend that you begin to do is to watch your diet more and focus on eating healthier foods. You should be eating plenty of organic raw fruits and vegetables each day. These give your body the nutrition that it needs to heal your skin and help new skin cells grow quicker.
