Acnezine Review

May 28th, 2011

Acnezine has created an instance buzz and image since it emerged in the market to treat acne. One of its many advantages when compared to other treatment products is its own skin care management system approach to getting rid of acne. Another is the fact that it was manufactured with an emphasis on natural ingredients and it promotes the fact that it is made up of natural yet powerful ingredients like Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Alpha Lipoic Acid and many more.

Acnezine obtains the results it does by firstly regulating the levels of hormone in your body so as to cleanse the entire endocrine system, which includes your liver. After regular use, the resultant benefits are that your nervous system will function properly and as a result not allow your skin to become inflamed, damaged or to suffer any allergic responses that may cause it to become darker, lighter, or even red. It helps not only in controlling your acne but also in preventing any early wrinkling of your skin as an indicator of aging. Moreover, it also aids in the removal of acne scars.

Another benefit is the knowledge that with Acnezine, your skin is free from unwanted side-effects. Detoxification is the only thing that you go through when you apply and use the product. Therefore, users are assured that it will also be helpful in preventing any possible acne breakout that could still happen in the not too distant future. What’s more is that it is so easy to use, you need not put on any sticky lotion on your face nor try to follow any complex set of instructions.

The only negative applicable from this product is that it may not be the right product for everybody. Even if others swear that it has made them achieve definitively clearer skin within days, there are others who failed to experience this. This is probably because their livers are deeply clogged that the product cannot do much anymore. Such cases may require you go through more radical therapies for detoxification.

In order to know if Acnezine will works for you, you have to take the initiative and try the product. If you observe that there are unsatisfactory results after a few weeks, then you may also want to make the dosage a bit higher than the usual. This is what others attest to have done to achieve its effects. However, if you believe that Acnezine does not really work for you, then you always obtain a refund of your money for it so that you may try something else that would fit your needs best.

Acne Scars

September 23rd, 2010

Acne scars are a sad reminder of the having suffered pimples or even acne. They are intolerable because of their seeming permanence and their non-complimentary look. Normally speaking, acne scars are rather difficult to treat, but tissue regeneration is not unusual these days with all the amazing technological developments.

Generally speaking, when referring to acne scars, we are talking about the healed lesions resulting from an acne infection. While most scarring is temporary and will probably disappear on its own over time, scarring from the more severe forms of acne can become permanent.

Acne scarring may be prevented if the patient visits doctor when the acne scarring is in an incipient stage, especially if nodules or cysts accompany the red pustules on the skin’s surface. If the bouts of acne have marked your skin, you will have to approach the problem from a different perspective, which usually means surgery.

Laser resurfacing is one possibility of removing the damaged skin areas and stimulating the organic regrowth of the tissue beneath. This operation only requires local anaesthetic and can take between a few minutes and an hour depending on the extent of the problem.

Fractional laser therapy is one of the most recent forms of eliminating acne scarring. It involves surgical intervention at deep skin layers. The therapy is superior to both dermabrasion and laser resurfacing in terms of quality and involves a much reduced healing period. Nevertheless, fractional laser therapy remains within the reach of only those few lucky people, who can pay for it, since it is the most expensive acne treatment available these days.

It can happen that further sessions are required to improve the condition of the upper layers of skin, before they can tackle the deep level treatment of the acne scarring. The doctor may inject collagen into the scars in order to elevate the existing skin level or she/he may suggest micro-dermabrasion for the same reason. Trying to carry out chemical peels at home could be a bad idea because of the risk of aggravating the condition by irritating the scars even further.

As for the kinds of acne scarring, they can be classified according to the formation pattern. Scars can result because of an increase of tissue or due to a loss of tissue They both have an adverse impact on the way the face looks. Specialists’ evaluation of the nature of the scars is a very important factor for the decision of adopting one form of treatment or another.

Acne Does Not Equal Zits

September 13th, 2010

There are various kinds of acne, named according to how or why the acne developed. Some of the kinds of acne are: acne conglobata (chronic boils); acne fulminans (an extreme form of conglobata); acne cosmetica (caused by cosmetics); acne keloidalis nuchae (from shaving); acne medicamentosa (caused by starting or stopping a medication); acne rosacea (redness on the face); baby acne; hormonal acne; cloracne and the common variety, acne vulgaris (also known as ‘puberty spots’). In this article, we will take a closer look at acne vulgaris.

Acne vulgaris may be described as: ‘an inflammatory disease of the skin, caused by changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland). Acne lesions are commonly referred to as pimples, spots or zits’ (according to Wikipedia).

Acne is most often found in white Western teenagers, although it does occur in every country in the world, so there could be a genetic predisposition to it. It is possible that it could be an abnormal reaction to fairly average levels of testosterone. For most sufferers, outbreaks of acne last only until adulthood, probably only a few years or at the most ten. For other people, however, it may be a life-long affliction. It most often affects the face, upper-chest, upper-arms and back. However, an occasional spot does not constitute acne.

Acne vulgaris manifests itself in different many forms, including: whiteheads, resulting from pores that are completely blocked, trapping sebum (oil), bacteria, and dead skin cells, causing a white appearance on the top; blackheads, caused by pores which are only partially blocked, allowing some of the trapped sebum, bacteria, and dead skin cells to slowly drain to the surface (the black colour is not a result of dirt, but is a reaction of the skin’s own pigment, called melanin, with the oxygen in the air); papules, which are inflamed, red, tender bumps with no head and pustules, which are similar to whiteheads, but are inflamed, and look like red circles with a white or yellow centre.

Whiteheads do not often last long; blackheads do last a long time and pustules are what people call spots. Severe acne vulgaris is characterized by nodules and cysts. A ‘nodule’ is a much larger and more painful sort of pustule and can sometimes last for months. Nodules are large, hard bumps under the skin’s surface. They frequently result in scarring and should never be squeezed, which could cause them to last for months longer still.

A ‘cyst’ may look similar to a nodule, but it is full of pus and has been defined as having a diameter of at least 5mm and, again, can cause scars and cause pain. Squeezing an acne cyst can cause a more severe infection and more acute inflammation which may last quite a bit longer than if it had not been squeezed. Skin experts have ways of reducing the swelling and avoiding scarring with both nodules and cysts. It is just not true that acne sufferers are not meticulous about cleanliness.

In fact, excessive washing can exacerbate acne. There are many, many fake ‘treatments’ on the market and many, many old wives’ remedies, but any good skin expert would tell you that there is no known cure for acne and that the patient should follow a deliberate regimen of cleansing until the acne just ‘disappears’ of its own accord.

How To Treat Acne Successfully

September 8th, 2010

Acne is horrible. However, it’s not something that cannot be tackled. There are heaps of acne skin care products around. We can pigeonhole acne skin care products into 3 broad categories -

* Preventive or general acne skin care products; * Over-the-counter, specialised acne skin care items; * Prescription only acne skin care products.

The general acne skin care products are the ones that are used as an acne-prevention measure. These include cleansers, make-up removers and similar items that help prevent acne. In the real sense, these acne skin care products are those that should be part of your daily schedule anyway. However, some of these are more orientated to work like an everyday acne skin care product.

These acne skin care products act against the reasons for acne e.g. limiting the production of sebum/oil and avoiding the congestion of skin pores. Basically, these acne skin care products inhibit the oil from getting trapped in the skin and hence impede the growth of the bacteria that lead to acne. Broad-spectrum acne skin care items also take in exfoliation products like skin peels. These work by removing dead skin cells, thereby reducing the likelihood of pore-clogging and bacteria increase.

Then there are specialised acne skin care products that are available over-the-counter i.e. without the requirement of a prescription. These include products like vanishing creams which remove the extra oil from the skin. Most of these acne skin care items are based on benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid, both of which are the enemies of bacteria (and therefore acne). You should start with a product that has a lower concentration of benzoyl peroxide (e.g. 5%) and see how your skin reacts to it.

Alpha-hydroxy-acid based moisturizers are also common as acne skin care items. You may have to test a few, before you find the acne skin care product that is most effective for you. If nothing seems to work, you should contact a skincare specialist.

Prescription acne skin care items are the ones that are prescribed by a dermatologist. These include ointments that can be applied on the affected area or oral antibiotics or just any topical medication. A dermatologist may also suggest a minor surgical process to do away with the contents of pustules. However, never try to squeeze or do this by yourself, as it can lead to the permanent damage of your skin.

Your doctor could also prescribe a hormone-based treatment (since hormonal changes are also known to cause acne). Such acne skin care items are known to be very effective in some cases. So, with all those acne skin care items, combatting acne is really not all that arduous.

The Truth About The Turbulence Training Workout Being To Easy

March 30th, 2010

I just laugh when people try to say that the Turbulence Training workout is to easy. They are just not doing the workouts right the way they are suppose to and they are not pushing themselves physically and mentally.

Every single Turbulence Training workout that I do leaves me sweating and feeling tired, tired in a good manor. I also have never finished any Turbulence Training workout and thought that it was easy or ineffective at all.

So if you seriously think that the Turbulence Training workout or workouts is to easy, or have done the intermediate Turbulence Training workout and thought to yourself that it was to easy for you or ineffective in any way, you got to see how I do it, then think to yourself if you really are training hard enough.

You may not be able to use the same weights that I use, but you can add more intensity to your workouts or use the weights that you are comfortable with. Not weights that are easy, weights that pushes you and gives you a great workout. That is all that is necessary to make your workouts more efficient for fat burning and pushing it to its fullest.

Lets take a look at Workout A, from the Intermediate Phase of the Turbulence Training for Fat Loss manual. Warm-up: I would use this to get my body and muscles ready for the workout. I’d even get myself to sweat a little bit. Now we move to super sets.

1A) DB Split Squat (8 reps): I use a minimum of 60 in not a minimum of 70 pound dumbells for this exercise. It is really tough, there is no other way to say it. 1B) DB Incline Press (8 reps): I like to use 80 – 90 pound dumbells for this exercise. Just by this superset alone my shirt is already drenched.

2A) The Stability Ball Leg Curl (15 reps) – I could do this exercise with no problem, so I would either increase the number of repetitions per set to 25, or I’d do the 1 Leg Stability Ball Leg Curl. 2B) Push ups (15 reps) – I’d increase the reps up to 35 push ups per set, or I would use different variations like a more difficult version such as close-grip push ups, or a decline close-grip push up which is even more difficult.

3A) The Stability Ball Jackknife (10 reps) – I would be increasing the reps up to 20 per set or do 1-Leg Stability Ball Jackknives. 3B) DB Rear-Delt Raise (10 reps) – This is tough, and I would use 15 or 20 pound dumbells for it.

When this intensifying strength training session is over, I like to rest for 1 minute never more than 2 minutes, resting no more than 2 minutes is best. Then I get on the treadmill for the interval training.

Interval Workout A – Intervals can not, repeat can not be easy for anyone. I go and run at top speed on the treadmill which is at 12mph or I go outside and do the intervals running my hardest. A beginner would probably use like 3.8 mph for walking intervals. Either way and no matter what, we both want to make it as hard as possible for ourselves to raise our fitness level.

The overall is that this workout would be tough. And someone who is more in shape than I am would just raise the intensity up to his or her max level so they would be boosting their metabolism to the max and burning fat fast!

Never let the workout be easy for you, that is the key. By Letting your workout be easy, it wont deliver the fat loss and muscle gain that you are in search for. So push your workout and yourself to the max. Turbulence Training isn’t easy, but it works, guaranteed. Any workout that is to easy is not really a workout at all and you are not going to get the full benefits

Get Out And Exercise

March 28th, 2010

Only 30 minutes of exercise each day will make you look and feel better. Exercise helps to improve your muscle tone, as well as delivering blood and oxygen to your skin. Your body will get stronger, leaner, and have more energy while fighting off disease. Exercise helps reduce depression and stress and helps sharpen mental awareness. Many doctors agree that 30 minutes of exercise or brisk activity every day will get you healthy and help maintain good health. Exercise helps prevent the three common illnesses in the United States: heart disease, stroke and type II diabetes. Adding some exercise into your daily routine is not as hard as you think. If you are concerned about time, it is just as good to break up the 30 minutes into two 15 minute sessions. You should make sure to exercise for at least 10 minutes to increase your heart rate. Work out hard enough to break out into a light sweat and so that you can feel your heart rate increase, but not so hard that you can’t comfortably hold a conversation.

Many people complain that they are too busy to work out. But there are many different ways that you can make exercise a priority in your life. Think about these fun ways to add exercise into your day.

Instead of getting a ride or taking the bus, consider walking or riding your bike to work or school. Turn short car trips to visit friends into nice long walks instead.

Toss around a Frisbee or a baseball at the park or organize a game of basketball if you are hanging out with your friends. Going on a date? Instead of sitting in a movie theater, how about going dancing or bowling?

Get outside and forget about the TV, video games or computer for a while. Take a nice hike or get on the bike trail. Having a few friends along sure makes it more fun!

Get involved in a team sport. See if your company offers organized sports teams for after-hours fun. Playing a game of volleyball or softball with co-workers can decrease stress and bring people together. Many towns and park districts offer sports leagues. You don’t have to be a professional. Just get involved and have a great time If everyone is having a good time and staying active, that is all that matters.

While hanging out with pals at the beach or the pool, take to the wave for a swim or try out surfing.

Just adding a few of these activities to your life can significantly decrease your risk of serious disease and make you a happier, healthier person!
