Face Moisturizers That Leave No Oil Residue

August 19th, 2010

Face moisturizers for men, that’s the idea running in my mind just a few years back, I even thought that it’s not impossible that there are a lot of men out there who uses such products. Most of my male friends would say it’s too much for men and that we should just leave it for the women. However, thinking about it more, I see no reason why men shouldn’t take care of their faces, except for that very dated thought that doing so reduces their masculinity. All men experience issues when it comes to skin, it’s not like only when gets acne and oily skin, in fact most of the time men experiences the worst type of skin issues compared to women. Which is why the most popular brands in skin care products already have an exclusive line for men, but the question is, which one will suit you best.

The face moisturizers you use have different ingredients that you need to consider when determining if they’re the right one for you As it is in our food, we should consider face moisturizers that have vitamin additives. However, no matter how many fruits and vegetables we eat that are rich in vitamins and nutrients, only a certain amount of them goes to our skin. That’s the reason why manufacturers added vitamins to their face moisturizers so you can directly apply them on your face. Retinoid, produced by vitamin A is good in reducing wrinkles and in slowing down the signs of aging in our skin. Vitamin B3 helps keep moisture in, perfect for those with dry or sensitive skins.

The weather condition, surprisingly, should also be considered when choosing which face moisturizers is best for you. You shouldn’t use rich, thick face moisturizers during hot and humid days as it may lead to breakouts. The skin gets dry caused by the chilly winter wind and during this time, it’s recommended that you use thick moisturizers for your face. Also remember that the sun emits harmful UV rays, that’s why you should use moisturizers that have sunscreen and sunblock. Unlike sunscreen, moisturizers with sunblock have zinc and titanium and these are recommended for those with dry or sensitive skin.

Of course, we all have different skin types, and it is imperative that we know which type is our skin before we can properly care for them. Whether you have an oily skin, dry skin, sensitive skin, normal skin or any combination of them, you should be able to find face moisturizers for your skin type. Most women have combinations of these, like some parts are oily, usually the nose and forehead area, while there are dry areas, like around the eyes and cheek. You have to take extra care with this kind of skin. Of course, if you have a dry skin, using face moisturizers made for oily skin will make your skin drier.

The market has been flooded with many brands of face moisturizers and choosing the right one for you may not be that easy. Unfortunately, there are some people who think that the most expensive ones are the most effective but that’s not true. The expensive one’s not always the best one but we’re not saying don’t buy them The use of face moisturizers are really a personal preference. Although if you’re using an expensive brand but you based your decision on the right criteria, then go ahead. Take time to choose the right moisturizer because the wrong choice may cause more damage.

A face moisturizer can be really amazing. You can find one product that is everything that you need in a moisturizer.
