Simple ways to Reduce Eye Bags

November 8th, 2011

Working your way the entire day will most likely require a long and sound sleep. However, we sometimes have extra activities that would hinder our long required rest. This is one of the reasons why we have puffy eyes which normally results to unwanted eye bags.

Eye bags are commonly caused by fluid retention and dehydration. This happens when the septum that surrounds the eye balls weaken causing the outside layer of fat to sink forward. The main factor for this state are stress, restlessness and sometimes, poor diet.

You can reduce eye bags by doing the following:

  •  Cucumbers. Grab some slice cucumbers and place it in a cool place. Once it has cooled down, place them under your eyes for about 15 to 30 minutes. The coolness and natural property of cucumbers allows absorbing liquid and leaving the eyes looking fresh and young. If you do not have cucumbers, you can also use apple slices instead.
  • Ice cube.  Ice cubes are also helpful in reducing eye bags when placed in a soft cloth and applied directly to the affected area. five minutes of doing this is already helpful in reducing the appearance of swelling. Just remember to not use them more than the skin can tolerate.
  • Tea Bags. Tannins are commonly found in tea bags. Extract moisture out of used tea bags and let it cool down in the freezer. Don’t forget to wrap thup up in a soft cloth before applying them on.  Just take note to wrap them up in a soft absorbent cloth before application. Use them directly when you need to reduce the eye bags.

You can prevent eye bags from becoming visible by taking measures and altered routines. Make sure you are getting a healthy diet to minimize the chances of getting that sagging look. Getting a good night sleep will allow the eyes to relax and relieve itself from the day’s work is also an effective way to reduce and prevent puffy eyes . Give yourself some time to breathe in and freshen up. Nothing beats puffy eyes that total self-relaxation.

Eye Creams For Dark Circles

August 9th, 2010

Having dark circles under your eyes is completely normal. Everyone has them. It is not a sign that you are over-tired or sickly, though both of those things can contribute to darker circles. The reason is that skin there is extremely thin, so one is able to see blood and tissue underneath the surface. Your blood is blue, so it make show through as a purplish bruised color. This is why you need dark eye circles cream.

If you look closely, you will notice that just about every person on earth suffers from this. The only real answer is a cream to cover up the problem. Soothing creams and makeup creams are essentially your only answer.

Sometimes diet and sleep can make the problem better or worse. If you get too little sleep or have a poor diet, it can make you thinner, increasing the angles and shadows of your face, and you can be paler, making the dark circles more pronounced. Sometimes just bad genes can be responsible for this problem. Eat well and get plenty of rest and let creams handle everything else.

You need a cream specially for this purpose. There are many makeup creams for all different areas of skin, but this area is different than any other because there is no other skin quite like the skin below your eyes. The specialty makeup often has special principles to its composition that allow light to reflect off the area. You therefore use less makeup and get a better, brighter area.

Normal makeup will never work as well because it could be of a different texture, it could flake, or it could be of a different color. You want your makeup to match as close to the color of your eyelids as you can. You should even put a light dusting of your facial powder over the area in order to make it match the rest of your skin even closer.

Keep in mind that there are non-makeup creams that help soothe the skin there. It will narrow the blood vessels under the skin and make them less noticeable. It may also bring more color to the skin itself so it is not so pale and translucent.

Here’s what I recommend. No matter whether you are 30 or 70 years old, the Xtend Life Products will make a difference! Related article – Top Eye Creams For Dark Circles
